CANZLER, part of SOCOTEC Germany, acquires Tesch
CANZLER, a SOCOTEC company, reinforces its Berlin team with the Tesch consulting engineering firm.
CANZLER, a SOCOTEC company, and Berlin-based Tesch consulting engineers merged at the end of July 2020. It strengthens the electrical engineering division at the real estate consulting and planning office CANZLER and enables SOCOTEC to proceed on its growth path.
Tesch has made quite a reputation in Berlin as an expert partner when it comes to demanding consulting, planning and design work for electrical engineering systems, having successfully completed a wide variety of projects both large and small for customers in the public and private sector. Tesch provides one-stop shopping for the planning, design, and site management of building services engineering projects involving the new construction, refurbishment and upgrading of low- and high-voltage systems. In doing so, it covers the entire scope of electrical systems and facilities of the official German Scale of Fees for Services by Architects and Engineers (HOAI). It also includes elevator & escalator facilities and communications & lighting systems.
“The merger with Canzler is a great opportunity for us as specialist planners in electrical engineering, since many of our customers also require general planning services", confirms Joachim Tesch, Managing Director of Tesch Engineering. "Furthermore, with the support of eight existing offices of Canzler, we will expand our activities nationwide", adds Peter Meyer, Managing Director of Tesch.
Andreas Broßmann, managing director at CANZLER, details the benefits of the merger:
"For us, this means a key strategic growth step and a lasting reinforcement of the electrical engineering planning and design capability within our company. It also represents a new addition in Berlin, where the specialist designers for building services engineering and building automation are primarily headquartered."
As a result of the merger, the headcount at the Berlin office has increased to 25.
