The SOCOTEC group continues to grow through its acquisition of AXE, a French QSE specialist. This strengthens our Environment & Safety BU. Combined revenue, including AXE, will exceed €43 million, positioning SOCOTEC as a leader in a fast-growing sector serving businesses and local authorities.

AXE has nearly 20 years of experience in meeting QSE challenges with a track record of over 5,000 customers, industrialists and local authorities.

Based near Rennes (Brittany, France), AXE has extensive expertise in QSE regulations and in particular the related sectoral constraints. ISO 9001 certified, and COFRAC 17020 and 17025 accredited, AXE has solid references in strategic sectors such as chemicals, energy, eco-industries (recycling and industrial waste collection), quarries, public works, logistics, food sectors, tertiary sector and local authorities.

AXE will be part of our Environment and Safety Business Unit, thus boosting our capacity to provide added-value services to industrialists and local authorities.

"This acquisition will strengthen our current core business in Measurements (atmospheric emissions, water, acoustics, indoor air quality, occupational exposure limit values), Polluted Sites and Soils, and Consulting Services for QSE and ICPE (Facilities Classified for Environmental Protection). But we are also gaining a complementary revenue source by strengthening our Regulatory Monitoring activity with AXONE software, already highly appreciated on the market. It is one of the leading programs on the market able to differentiate between providing support to clients by monitoring their action plans, continuous quality improvement and QSE management systems."
